Revolutionizing Measurement Technology
At FORCEBIT, we understand the challenges that come with designing new machines and vehicles. The shift from virtual prototype to real system often reveals significant differences, not only in component production but also in loading conditions. This can lead to suboptimal performance. The common practice of adding safety factors to every design calculation results in over-dimensioned systems that consume more power, operate slower and, paradoxically, sometimes fail faster.
The current landscape of measurement solutions involves complicated, hard-to-implement methods, creating a high threshold for conducting measurements. FORCEBIT believes that lowering this barrier will help you gain a better understanding of your system. We aim to provide easy, worry-free solutions that allow access not just to any data, but to the key variables that truly illustrate how your machine behaves.
Founding team

Jan Croes' professional career has always been closely tied to rotating equipment. He has worked on fundamental research in sensors and sensing algorithms, developed numerical models to represent machine physics, and conducted extensive measurements. Throughout numerous industrial projects, he encountered the resistance and hesitation companies faced when the need for experiments arose. As he delved deeper into the available solutions on the market and engaged with various companies, he realized this was a significant industrial challenge that needed to be addressed. This realization set the Forcebit journey in motion. It inspired him to come up with a brand new technology making load and force measurement FAST, EASY and RELIABLE.

Emin Oguz Inci joined Forcebit at a pivotal stage, bringing a strong entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on problem-solving skills that aligned perfectly with Jan’s vision. With a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Emin’s expertise spans a wide range of fields, including optimization techniques, product family design, and numerical simulation — all critical to realizing Forcebit's mission of developing next-generation sensor solutions. As a software architect and expert, Emin leads the development of the software stack of Forcebit ecosystem, designing the entire architectural framework to ensure an intuitive, reliable, and seamless measurement experience. His broad skill set and technical leadership play a vital role in driving our innovation forward.

Forcebit Academic Roots, External Validation & Innovation Track Record
Forcebit is built on a foundation of world-class research, rigorous external validation, and recognized technological innovation—significantly reducing technical and execution risk.
World-Leading Academic Origins
Forcebit originated from the KU Leuven Noise & Vibration Research Group (LMSD), part of KU Leuven, consistently ranked among Europe’s top engineering universities. LMSD is internationally recognized as a global authority in noise, vibration, and dynamic system analysis, and has been at the forefront of NVH and drivetrain research for decades. The group is also the organizer of the International Conference on Noise and Vibration Engineering (ISMA), one of the most influential conferences worldwide in this domain.
Selectively Supported by Top-Tier Accelerators
Forcebit is supported by Start it @KBC, Belgium’s largest startup accelerator, and is a member of its Hardware Community. This program selectively supports hardware startups with strong intellectual property, complex engineering challenges, and clear industrial scalability. In addition, Forcebit is part of imec.istart, one of Europe’s most reputable university-linked accelerators. iStart applies a highly selective admission process, accepting only startups that demonstrate a working prototype, validated core technology, and strong commercial potential. Participation in both programs reflects independent validation of Forcebit’s technology readiness, execution capability, and growth potential.
Public Innovation Funding as Quality Signal
Forcebit has been awarded multiple innovation grants by Agentschap Innoveren & Ondernemen (VLAIO). These grants are only awarded following in-depth technical and economic evaluation, confirming the novelty, technical depth, and industrial relevance of Forcebit’s technology.

Our vision and mission
Our Vision
Drive performance & sustainability in machine industry by offering crucial insights on how to make things better
Our Mission
Make measurements on drivetrains fast, easy & reliable. We implement our mission as follows:
- Fast Installation: Our sensors are designed to be quickly retrofitted onto existing machinery without the need to disassemble any parts. Their compact and modular design allows for rapid deployment, minimizing downtime and disruption to operations.
- Easy Integration: We ensure that our sensors are simple to implement by designing them to work even in less-than-ideal mounting conditions. Our measurement principles are robust, providing accurate data even with minor misalignments. Additionally, we prioritize user-friendly software with an intuitive interface, ensuring that anyone can easily access and interpret the collected data.
- Reliable Performance: Reliability is at the core of our design philosophy. We select the highest quality components, such as accelerometers, strain gauges, and wireless technology, to ensure consistent and trustworthy performance. Combined with a well-engineered design, this guarantees long-lasting and dependable results.
